A brainstorming session is a small focused session of one hour, organised around a topic of your choice. You as organiser/proposer of the session and a second expert in your field of interest will initiate the discussion.

More information how to submit your proposal can be found on the ECNP member pages. Be quick, the deadline is 15 January 2016.

ECNP Neuroscience & Psychotherapy meeting

While progress in psychological treatment is showing success in a range of areas, evidence-based psychological treatments have not yet fully benefitted from the range of dramatic advances in the neuroscience related to emotion, behaviour and cognition. Meanwhile, much of neuroscience is unaware of the potential of psychological treatments.

This meeting, held on 20-21 March in Nice, France, will bring together a range of exceptional scientists who are contributing to closing the gap, and examine how ECNP can provide the platform to meet this translational challenge.

DupCheck

DupCheck free for ECNP members

DupCheck is a global web-based tool to screen for duplicate patients in clinical trials across studies, sponsors and therapeutic areas.

It provides real time information on attempted duplicate enrollment at time of screening and also screens for previous participation in a trial of investigational drug.

This tool can be linked to existing electronic data capture systems - eliminating additional data entry - and run in the background, analogues to an anti-virus.

DupCheck is part of IMI/efpia sponsored NEWMEDS, one of the largest ever research academic-industry collaboration projects focused on new methods for drug development.

DupCheck is available at no cost to ECNP members conducting academic clinical trials.
